If you’ve made it this far, I want to start by saying thank you! I have been thinking about starting a blog for a while now because I love the idea of putting some of my thoughts on paper, or should I say, on screen. I would guess 98% of my posts will be racing related and the other 2% will be about my boring life outside of the roll cage.
For those of you who don’t know me personally, I am tall (duh), blonde, sarcastic, and an occasionally funny drag racer. I originally grew up in the upstate of South Carolina, but moved to east Tennessee in 2014. I’m engaged to another drag racer, Cody, and we have a crazy cat named Peanut. Cody and I try to race as much as possible and at as many tracks as we can. Furthermore, I have made it my mission to go to a new facility each racing season. So far I’ve competed in five states and at fourteen different racetracks, although I’ve been to at least twenty-seven tracks total (I know- I wish I would have been racing at those, too).
My goal is to entertain readers whether they are fellow drag racers, crew members, track officials, family members, spectators, or those who are brand new to the sport. Thank goodness winter is almost over around here because I’m excited to get the 2020 racing season started!
